I know, this is the second
week in a row where I am super late. I’ve just been all over the place. And I
actually thought that this week I would be on time with spring break and all
and me and hubby not working. Unfortunately, spring break doesn’t mean
relaxing, it means getting stuff done that you usually don’t have a chance to
do when you are working. It is Friday and I am asking myself where the heck has
the week gone… seriously.
Last week I mentioned I was
sick, or the week before that, that is since I am kind of at the end of the
week already. Me being late is just screwing me up and I am confused, lol… bare
with me. Let’s put it this way… I have been sick for two weeks already. I
started with a cold, that didn’t seem to go away. Then it turned into a bad
double ear infection and sinus infection. So I started taking antibiotics. This
past Sunday I finished my antibiotics, and although I wasn’t feeling completely
better, I felt like I was getting there. Then Monday came… and it was as if the
sinus infection hit me all over again. Wonderful, huh? And ever since I don’t seem to be getting any better. My ears
aren’t in complete pain, but not in comfort, and are still partially plugged
up. My sinuses, my goodness I am so congested, it is awful. And everyday seems
to be getting worse. I don’t have a cough per say, but my chest started to get
very congested too…maybe it is a cough developing… who the heck knows. I really
don’t want to take antibiotics again, I JUST took them. Not to mention they
gave me a yeast infection, on top of everything else was not the most pleasant
thing. Luckily, I am treating that now and seemed to resolve that issue at
least.
I honestly don’t even know
what to do. Seriously, I have been sick for over 2 weeks, and I am kind of
hoping my body is just taking a long time to heal because I don’t want to take
antibiotics again, but seem to be getting more symptoms. I think I will wait
one more week and then maybe consult with a doctor and go from there. Let me
just tell you- it sucks!
So, for 29 weeks…. Let’s
see if I can remember :)
My weight, I was 159.4 in
the beginning of the week. So I have
gained almost 20 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight at this point already.
Although if we count from the 131 pounds that I dropped, it is kind of like I
gained 30 pounds. A big number… but doctors are counting it from 140, because
they say that whatever I lost I was supposed to gain back, so that gives me
some calming feeling that I am not a complete fat butt.

Crazy thing is, I still
have 11 weeks to go to gain weight. Well, they say gaining 25-35 pounds is the
ideal thing, right? I can’t possibly gain more than 15 pounds in the next 11
weeks… or can I?
Instead of meshing 29 and
30 weeks together I am going to mention a couple things I know for a fact are for
29 weeks and leave the rest of the stuff I wanted to talk about for my 30 week update that I will try * me best*
to get done on time and maybe even earlier to make up for the past two weeks.
This week I have a very
noticeable line going down my belly. The Linea Nigra, as they call it. I have
seen a very fade line but wasn’t sure if it was just the trail of my belly fuzz
or not, but now you can definitely tell I have the line. It’s kind of funny
actually :)
Baby. Kicking all the time,
I know… what’s new, right? He has been reaching my ribs! This is a totally new
and strange feeling. Sometimes when I am lying on my side he is so high up and
kicks with something very sharp and literally surprises me because it is SO
strong. I’m literally being beat in the ribs by our little man, haha! He has
just been all over the place and using every part of my uterus for
experimentation lately. Stretching it beyond limits, making it different shapes
and forms and just kicking all over! Oh boy! :)
Other than that, I am just
miserable being heavy and tired as is, plus being sick on top. Like I mentioned
above I don’t even know what to do anymore with my sickness. I stand under hot
showers to breathe in the steam, I drink hot tea with honey and lemon, I’m
going to start putting salt water up my nose… but nothing seems to help. If
anyone can make me magically feel better right about now, that would be great!
I’m summing up this week on
this, and have some other things to talk about and update you guys on, but
going to save that for my 30 week post just to clear the water and try to get
back on track here.
